First eppie? Oh geez, I couldn't remember if I wanted to. See, my sister got hooked on it first. She adored it. She still does. Anyways, she talked about it constantly. I didn't like it at first, since I got tired of her talking about it so much and just avoided it like the plague.

Then, last summer, Danny Phantom had a marathon every--Tuesday and Thursday? Something like that -shrugs- and I was home a couple times during them. My sister would drag me off to watch them with her, and since the alternative was to go back to work and make custom searches for my dad's clients, I watched them. A LOT of them. Then I started to have a tendency to come home early from work (since I work for my dad, he's flexible as long as I get the job done) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, because I started to like the show more and more.

So, I'm getting more into the show and I was running out of excuses on exactly why I wanted to leave early, so I found out that you could watch all the eppies on youtube!

Then I watched TUE. And I was officially obsessed with Danny Phantom.

It wasn't just TUE that really got me hooked, though. See, the reason I kept on watching the marathons was really, well, the Danny/Sam stuff. I'm kinda a hopeless romantic. I can't resist a potential romance, especially as cute as D/S. TUE was the turning point, but the romance is the prime reason I watch that show. The prime reason I watch any show, actually. And book.

So, TUE and I finally admitted to myself that I liked the show. I watched every episode on youtube. xD Then when I was done, I was like....ok...now what? I gotta wait til October for a new episode, and I already had watched most of the episodes twice. Then I wondered if anybody else liked Danny Phantom, and wrote fanfiction for it. So I went to fanfiction and discovered that yes, a LOT of other people liked Danny Phantom. I immediately went to the Danny/Sam archive in the C2 communties, and I remember the first one I read, Happy Belated Birthday! (Edit: Or maybe it was Illegal Birthday Present...xD whatever that series) Then I read tons more, and then got led into dA when people advertised fanart on their fanfictions. The rest is obvious.

So yeah...I guess I write/draw fan stuff cuz...well, Danny Phantom is, unfortunately, a Y7 show. I wish they aimed it towards teens, cuz theres a lot of cool stuff that could be part of the show, but can't since, um, its a kids show. So fanfiction is where that stuff can be played around with. Ditto with fanart. Which is why I read/write fanfiction, and once in a while do fanart. (not that everything I write/draw is past Y7..I'm just saying xD) Plus, when I'm obsessed with something, I can't help but write/draw fan stuff, because....I just do. xD Bad explaination, but whatever.

So that is the fascinating story of why I got into the DP fandom. (I'm being sarcasm btw) We want to hear your stories too, so...I tag....everyone who watches me and therefore gets my journals!!
